I’m Nicolas Barrière, student at CentraleSupelec, and currently interning at Duffel in London.
I’m a student at CentraleSupelec, currently based in London for my internship at Duffel, where I get to work close to product and engineering in a fast-moving environment. Before that, I interned at Atombit, working around data, AI, and business transformation.
During covid, I founded Chessart from a simple idea: a chess set should be as beautiful on the wall as it is on a table. More broadly, I’m drawn to products that combine usefulness, clarity, and a strong point of view.
I spend a lot of time building small tools and experiments, often in Python or TypeScript, with a growing interest in AI agents, automation, and software that helps turn rough ideas into something tangible. This site is a quiet place for some of that work, along with notes on products.
